A free breakfast is served at 8am each and every morning of the year and offers a large choice from cereals to a full English. A standard breakfast consists of fried eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, baked beans, mushrooms and plum tomatoes, served with a choice of bread or toast, and of course, tea or coffee.
We also offer porridge and a choice of cereals.
We do not know how many people will arrive on any given day. It may be as few as 300 or as high as 600, but we feel that if there is only one person knocking on our door then we should open that door and make them welcome.
Mens showers are available Monday to Friday from 6:30am until 10am, with free clothing available daily.
We attempt to make available an amount of clothing in an attempt to allow individuals to pick and choose the clothing they would like to wear. We take for granted the choice we have when we open the wardrobe door and choose what to wear each morning. Our personality and mood are reflected in what we wear.
Once showered you are welcome to browes the clothing area and take your time and choose what you would like to wear. There is no charge for clothing and individuals are not restricted in the number of visits they may make to the showers or clothing area in any week.
Mens showers are supervised by staff and this is due to the shear numbers going through the showers each day. We need to ensure that everybody gets the choice and everyone remains safe.
We would normally expect to see 75-100 men use the showers each weekday.
