The Whitechapel Misison wants people to raise money in whatever way they like. Some people give up a meal and give Whitechapel the money that they've saved. Others work with the whole school, and involve parents in different ways. For example, they:

Ask your parents to sponsor you to be silent for a set length of time – they'll love it! Organize a sponsored swim, a period of silence or a treasure hunt around the school

Own clothes day
Own Clothes Day

Why not ask your school if they would consider a "wear your own clothes" day and each pupil could pay a pound and wear your own clothes to school for the day.

Personal grooming items - Toothbrushes and toothpaste, Shampoo/shower gel (max 300ml), Safety razors, Plasters, Bar of soap and flannel, Nail clippers/scissors, Brush/comb

Socks & Chocs - Maybe a bar of chocolate and a pair of socks. Or a packet of Sweets

Bad hair day

Pay £2 to be able to wear your hair in any style you want for the day.

Pupils could put their imaginations to the test to raise money for a worthy cause.
Pupils could don pigtails, spikes and backcombs on Friday in aid of The Whitechapel Mission. Others could opt to wear crazy wigs or sport messy locks and bright colours in their hair to raise as much cash as possible for the schools Bad Hair Day.

Food Items - Baked Beans, Plum Tomatoes, Biscuits, Sugar, Tinned Fruit, Tinned Meat, Tinned Tuna/Fish, Breakfast Cereal
